Today in Canadian History
Each episode of Today in Canadian History contains an interview with a Canadian professor, journalist, author, or “everyday” historian and focuses on a unique event or moment that took place on that day in Canadian history. Today in Canadian History presents Canada’s past in a unique and accessible manner. The series is designed to be a first step to learning more about our past. We would like to remind Canadians not just about what makes our country great, but what makes it complicated, beautiful, diverse, and ours.

CJSW Presents...
Radio seems uniquely intimate. Television and the internet deliver heaps of content, but radio creates a special sense of connection between the speaker and the listener - as though you are being spoken to directly.

It's that sense of intimacy that CJSW hopes to create for our listeners with our new block 'CJSW Presents...'. Here we will feature an enormous range of content, produced both in house and externally. The only requirement is that the piece be thought provoking. It's a space for CJSW to air our documentaries, recordings of U of C lectures, monthly shows, syndicated programming from other radio stations, extended interviews, and anything else that gets the CJSW stamp of approval.

Tune in to 'CJSW Presents...' every thursday at 8pm, and provoke your mind!

Hotbox Radio
Hotbox Radio is a weekly, one-hour programme dedicated to discussing topics relevant to alternative culture audiences.

There are many ways to look at the world and we take the view that the mainstream paradigm is only one such way. There is a multitude of critical viewpoints that need to be evaluated and discussed, not just for the sake of objectivity but simply because unique and radical viewpoints are utterly necessary if we wish to advance beyond the very evident death of the imagination visible in everything from drug to environmental policy.

Hotbox Radio is produced and hosted by Ændrew Rininsland, Managing Editor of Hotbox Magazine, and distributed through the Hotbox Network and CJSW 90.9 FM Calgary.
