Volunteer With CJSW

This section is for volunteers, or for those that would like to become one. Hopefully you will be able to find everything you need to know.

CJSW is run almost entirely by volunteers, with a minimal full time staff of four. Everyone else, from the on-air programmers and newsreaders, to the executive, is here because they love radio. A lot of work goes into running a radio station; the mail doesn’t open itself! So come by the office any time, and ask someone what sort of help you can be. Opportunities range from the day-to-day running of the office, like writing public service announcements and news, filing c.ds, or inputting data in our library, to helping out at special events, or even training new volunteers. Check the office hours on the main page, and come by anytime we’re open. We have lots for you to do.
